SPREAD THIS VIDEO, IT IS AMAZING.

Watch this. Watch it. I don’t care if you’re not a Sherlockian, just fucking watch it. This damn fandom is beautiful, and clever, and UNITED in a way I have never seen before, and I am overwhelmingly proud to be a part of it.

This is why I stand up for this fandom.

This is why I believe in us.

I truly, truly love this group so much, and will always #believeinsherlock <3

I AM NEVER LEAVING THIS FANDOM.

THIS FANDOM THAT HAS BELIEVED IN SHERLOCK SINCE THE FUCKING 1800’s.

THIS. FANDOM. KSDFJLSDFASDF.

I am actually crying.

There is so much I love about this fandom; the talent (fics, fanart, videos), the mass-postcards sent to Benedict & Martin, Superwholock, the fact that there are very few ship wars, the mostly warm open people you meet through it, the fact that is has whether you believe it or not has been going since the late 1800s.

But this, this movement gives me so much hope. It proves people can change things; people can change the public’s perception, and people will change the public’s perception.

I am so proud to be a Sherlockian. This video got me a lump in my throat. ugh

I believe in Sherlock Holmes!!

This is the greatest fucking fandom in the world and I’m so proud to be a part of it.

Favourite thing of the day: Sherlock Sticks.
The story:
I work in a café. During the day I got bored and started putting little scraps of receipt paper with #believeinsherlock written on them on the tables. Nobody picked them up or anything. But that too was boring. So I wrote “pass this on” on them. They started vanishing. I don’t know if they got thrown away or not, but they were gone. I’m going to do the same thing next time I work.
After work I went to Target, sticking the #believeinsherlock post-its and labels I had made yesterday all over downtown as I went. I was actually looking for chalk of various kinds, but I suddenly saw craft sticks and was inspired. They’re not as easy to lose, destroy or ignore as a scrap of paper and can be put outside, too. And if people move them or give them to others… that’s be cool.
So, Sherlock Sticks. I put a few on the bus and observed confusion on the part of people noticing. Slightly disappointing, but since my route runs by a big college I have higher expectations for future endeavors. I’ve also scattered them around where I walk in downtown and in my neighborhood. Now I’m just hoping they’ll be moved around, or somehow make their way back to me. Or make it far away. That’d be cool too.
Tumblr, if you find any Sherlock Sticks, I’d like you to take a picture and then put them somewhere else. Just to see how far they go. And make your own in the same vein? I just like the idea of them being passed around.

Another brilliant idea too spread the message.

I thought to myself ‘Where will there be a high traffic of Sherlock fans?’ and then it came to me…

I just emailed RIPTapparel—a company that sells tshirt designs for only 24 hours at a discounted price—and told them about the #believeinsherlock campaign.
If enough people email them, I’m sure they’d take notice!  Also, artists submit your designs!
I just wanted to inform RIPTapparel that there is a HUGE movement going on internationally.  If you are not aware, Series 2 of the BBC drama ‘Sherlock’ just ended.  In it, Sherlock committed suicide and the public thinks him a fraud.
In real life, though, there is a guerilla ‘#IbelieveinSherlock’ campaign.  People all over the world are making their mark to show that ‘Moriarty is Real’ and ‘I believe in Sherlock.’  We try our best to keep vandalism out of this…but for the most part there are shirts and buttons and flyers everywhere.
I assure you, if you sold a shirt with one of these messages, it would sell like hotcakes.
Thank you for your time.

Agents, maybe we should get some people on this! With enough e-mails they may design something for our campaign and spread the message even more.
